What is Dermapen 4?

Acne scars and active acne
Microneedling may be discussed for uneven texture and scars left after acne. This is different from assessing active acne. Inflamed spots, infection or irritation require assessment before a procedure; complete removal of every scar is not promised.

How many Dermapen sessions do I need?
The number and interval are agreed after consultation and may change with your skin’s response. A package does not replace an individual treatment plan. The number and spacing depend on your skin, type of scarring and treatment. A three-session package does not mean three sessions are necessary or sufficient for everyone. Your plan follows an assessment.
Is it the same as CO₂ laser?
No. Dermapen uses microneedling, while CO₂ is a laser treatment. They have different preparation and recovery requirements that should be discussed separately.
Is it suitable for every acne scar?
Different scars may need different approaches. The team assesses the scars, any active acne and your expectations before recommending a method.
What is included in Dermapen packages?
Benn’s catalogue includes a peel and sheet mask with Dermapen 4 packages. Options combine cleansing, Cellbooster Glow or a skinbooster. The practitioner determines which combination and product use is appropriate.
How much downtime follows CO₂ or Dermapen?
CO₂ may involve visible recovery with redness and peeling. Dermapen and CO₂ have different recovery needs. Your practitioner confirms when to return to work, makeup, sun exposure and your routine based on the treatment and skin.
How do I prepare for CO₂ or Dermapen?
Tell the team about sun exposure, recent treatments, medicines, retinoids, allergies and any cold-sore history. You will receive a preparation plan. Do not stop medication or start prescription creams based on this chat.
Does Dermapen or CO₂ hurt?
Sensation and comfort measures depend on the procedure and person. The team explains these beforehand; do not apply numbing cream yourself without instructions.
What happens during Dermapen or CO₂ treatment?
After consultation, the skin is prepared and the area treated according to the plan. The team confirms appointment length, steps and aftercare for the selected procedure.
When will I see microneedling results?
